Who is YoPotato?
Sean Erixon, you’re on my WordPress blog, have you not seen my About page? You may connect with me in various ways using that About page.
What personal data is collected and why?
Think of it this way; whatever you type into those requested fields, I collect that information since you have chosen to send it to me(willingly, might I add). Nobody is making you use the contact form on my blog. It’s a means to communicate with me. In order to communicate, we exchange our names so we may address each other properly, our emails so we may respond to each other, and the messages are essential to formulate a discussion. Those input fields may save your data for your convenience. I think that’s more on your browser than it is on my blog though.
Cookies – Yum!
I know there are cookies when it comes to using WordPress, or any other blogging platform for that matter. I just know we got them, they’re delicious, and your browser could block them if you wanted it to.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
Who do I share your data with?
Nobody, nothing is sold or shared with other companies or services. If you send me a funny email, I may share it with my friends, or my dog. In all seriousness, I’m a nobody. Data collected by this blog is worthless outside of my hands. This blog is non-profit.
How long do I retain your data?
If the email you send to me is important to keep handy for a long time, then chances are it could be archived in my email inbox for a very long time. Typically to reference something we discussed. Otherwise, if it’s a, “How ya doin?” Well then, I’ll respond with some honesty and politely delete it once my reply has been sent.
What rights you have over your data?
You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where does your data go?
You send your data to my inbox, when you use the contact form found on the About page.
How do I try to protect your data?
The email password I use is pretty secure. Seriously though, the only data I’m collecting is whatever you share with me through email, which has 2 Factor Authentication mind you!
Are any data breach procedures in place?
No. None. Zilch, Nada. #SorryNotSorry
